Delete your TendBot account

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

If you can still sign in to TendBot, this is the fastest way:

1. Open the TendBot app on your phone
2. Tap the gear icon to open Settings
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account"
4. Type "DELETE" to confirm

Your account and all associated data are removed immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you've uninstalled the app, can't sign in, or would rather have us handle it for you, send us an email:

Please include:

• The email address you used to sign up
• Your name (so we can confirm we have the right account)

We'll confirm receipt within 1 business day and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17. We'll email you once it's done.

What gets deleted (and when)

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days:

• Your profile — name, email, authentication credentials, and preferences
• All conversation history with your assistant
• Notebook pages and notes
• Cortex memory — learned facts and preferences
• Connected service tokens (Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.) — these are revoked immediately on deletion
• Cached email and calendar data we pulled from connected services
• Approval and audit history
• Push notification tokens
• Your @tend.bot delegation email address and any messages it received

What we may keep (and for how long)

A small amount of data is retained for legal and operational reasons. Each item below specifies the retention period:

• Billing records (invoices, payment history) — retained for 7 years to comply with Swedish bookkeeping law (Bokföringslagen)
• Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics — retained indefinitely, with all personal identifiers removed so the data cannot be linked back to you
• A record of the deletion request itself (timestamp + hashed user ID) — retained for 3 years so we can prove the deletion happened if asked
• Security and audit logs containing your hashed user ID — retained for 12 months for fraud and abuse prevention

None of the retained items contain personal data that can be used to identify or contact you.

Third-party services

TendBot only reads data from connected services like Gmail and Google Calendar — we never modify or delete data inside those services. To remove TendBot's access, your data is automatically revoked at the source when you delete your account. You can also revoke access manually in your Google Account settings under "Third-party apps with account access".
